Flag carrying case ideas

From the sublime to the mundane

These are some of the worship flag carrying cases we use.

My husband is a much more cut-to-the-chase type. He uses a 3' Alesis keyboard carrying bag. One of our dogs, Banjo, says Hi.

This is the indestructable container we use when we have to check our flags for air travel. It has safely carried flags half-way around the world more than once.

This is a piece of 4" black PVC, and cut it about 3" or so longer than our flags. We have found that 4" PVC will hold a maximum of 13 of our flags. You can adjust your PVC width for the number of flags you own.

The ends are two glue-on threaded ends and caps. The threaded ends are permanently attached with PVC pipe glue, and the caps screw in securely. He added a rope carrying handle to make carting it easier.

Closeup of the rope work. I'm sure it could be made more lovely and elegant, but this works fine. For some reason, he has an aversion to cutting off excess rope, so it's wrapped around a few times.
